Leafy assignation
I told you about our community canoe launch in a previous post. Yesterday was a prince of a day - sunny and warm with just a hint of a breeze - perfect conditions for some paddling down the river. Just keep in mind that eventually, you'll have to paddle back...up the river, against the current :-(

You can't miss them:)
Seeing this picture I realize how much I long for summer! Great colors!
I agree with Fredrik. I was thinking same words before I saw Fredrik`s comment. And you understand why, if you have been on my site lately :)
And I totally agree also with K. Grahame, my family can prove that. I spend in summer more time on a boat
than on a land.
This water colour make me cry :(
still over two months before we can put a boat in a water.
But we have so nice white, smooth snow everywhere, it is beautiful too.
Isabella, my dear, the thing that attracts me most to this post is the title-word "assignation". Why, I am too shy to say.
No, you can't Oya :-(
Thanks Fredrik, and hold on - spring's coming!
Sorry Mimmu, I did not want to make you cry :-). I love your new amaryllis avatar!
Frank - are you flirting with me? ;-)
Oh wow...look at all those bright happy colors. What a fun shot.
Gorgeous colors!! The blue color of the water is sooo beautiful!!
The colours are so deep and so clear. Primary colours, no?
Such vivid colors.
Great Colors !
Where is the shark ... ? :)
The sun, water and colours remind me of the summer to come. Just left Oxford and they have snow.
Lovely shot.
When I lived in Avignon we used to canoe/kayak down the river Gardon with friends at least once a year. It was a great day out... and the best part of it was that you picked the boats upstream and returned them downstream so you would paddle with the current all along! The canoe/kayak company then drove you back to your car and took care of transporting the boats back to the starting point by road. Possibly not the most eco-friendly but certainly the greatest fun!
PS - I have to apologise for my rather harsh 'desperate housewives' comment. Re-reading it I realised how hard it was. I forgot to say how much I liked the shot in the first place...
:-)
Striking contrast and colors Isa.
Such saturated colurs Isabella, I know what you are talking about, strange experience in a forest where i nearly lost my life the day before on 12th Feb. Very steep descent, almost vertical, enjoyed the sight and had to get back, near impossible steep climb.
