C'est le week-end!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

The Florida Tourism Office puts out a glossy magazine listing "101 things to do in Naples".
Here are some of their suggestions:

#10 - you can surf around the Naples Municipal Pier (I know, you probably don't think of Naples as a surfer's paradise, but the warm waters and strong breezes do produce some nifty swells from time to time)
#18 -take your pooch to a "Dog Beach" where he/she can swim and run leash free (don't forget a Frisbee and some tennis balls!)
#29 - visit the Teddy Bear Museum, home to over 5000 teddy bears by artists and manufactures from around the world
#45 - take a ride on an air boat deep into the jungle of the Everglades where you will see all kinds of wildlife (including alligators and manatees in the Mangrove forests)

I haven't done any of those things. In fact, I haven't done most of the things listed. So this week-end, I'll go...I'll visit...Oh, who am I kidding - I'll just stay here and rest. It's been a looong week.
So what are you plans for the week-end?

Moi je sais que ce je ferais : "visit the Teddy Bear Museum, home to over 5000 teddy bears by artists and manufactures from around the world" et j'emmenerais avec moi Amedée pour qu'il voit tous ces petits copains. cela doit-être grandiose. (des photos, des photos).

ANNOUNCE: Tomorrow Evry Daily Blog moves and leaves France ;O)

Me I know that this I would make: “visit the Teddy Bear Museum, home to over 5000 teddy bears by artists and manufactures from around the world” and I would take along with me Amedée so that it sees all these small buddies. that must-to be imposing. (of the photographs, the photographs).

Me too Isabella, just want to rest.
Sun is a star, many stars are burning themselves out everyday, have you ever wondered how long our sun is going to shine? what will happen to us without sunlight.
Any way it is not in our hands. We are too small Isabella. What a blessing the sun is.

What a relaxing picture you have here. We can't think of relaxing in the sun here in Chennai even in winter months.

Plans for the weekend? Think I'll figure out how to hang a hammock in front of the computer and just stare at this photo....
Pure Bliss.
Enjoy your weekend!

Oh, no Olivier - we would miss Evry! If you promise not to move, I'll promise to visit the museum one day and send Amedée photos of all his friends and relatives (qui sait?)

What a great idea from the tourist office! So often we go on holiday or even when we live somewhere and we do the same ol' thing. I approve of your tourist office.

That hammock looks inviting.

love Jilly xxx

When I see all these your photos, I can understand, why many our retired friend couple has left Joensuu for Florida, but they all are spending here our summer time and in Florida during our winters.
Have a nice relaxing weekend. I will play with my grandchildren, they have now a winter holiday week.

Can I join you? It's 18 degrees outside and I think my ears are frozen and have fallen off.

If an earless man shows up, c'est moi!!

Thank you for stopping in Brookville to look at my hawk and comment too. I posted another one today. I appreciate your visit. And while here I can't help but notice all the vivid photos of Florida. My son lives in Jupiter and has a studio in West Palm Beach. He is complaining about how cold it is there -- 30. Wow. We have ice and snow here and -5 yesterday though it is 18 this morning. Thanks again.

I have ridden on the air boat in the Everglades. We didn't see one alligator though...maybe they were sleeping?
