Life's a beach (1)

I hope you've been working out lately and tightening up those abs...We are going to the beach today (and for the next few days) and I don't want you to embarrass me ;-)

With fine white sand on the shore of the deep blue Gulf of Mexico, this is the Municipal Naples Beach and Fishing Pier (photos to come).

So swim, work on your tan, play volleyball, read or snooze - this is the Paradise Coast and the living is easy...

Ah, your teasing me again. Minnesota can extoll all the hearty Swedes, cross-country skiing, and outdoor winter sports, but I'll take sea, sand, and surf any day. Umbrellas are bright spots among the bathers.

ce sable est superbe, on dirait de la neige. Belle plage et ciel merveilleux, tu en as de la chance, je comprends mieux pourquoi tu es souvent à la plage.
Je te souhaite un bon weekend

Sometimes I think there is nothing to beat the south of France and then I see a beach! This is just beautiful -wonderful white sands (we have pebbles) - your beach, Hawaii, Australia -so many beautiful beaches.

Thanks for shaking me up, Isabella. What abs?

Okay, I am ready to head South! We try to vacation at Gulf Shores or Orange Beach, Al., at least every other year for maybe three days. Not nearly long enough! The white sand looks the same.

It is rainy and cold here. I am jealous. What a beautiful shot of the white sand and the blue sky. A nice image to start the weekend!

Yay, beach. And the white sand!

I go to the Atlantic beaches on the other side, but they are close by. They're pretty, but not as nice as the Gulf's beaches.

When Lovely Wife and I were first married, we lived in Fort Walton Beach, up in the panhandle, and it had white quartz sand beaches like you show here. Nothing more beautiful to me than the Gulf's beaches. Not even the beaches I visited in Hawaii were as pretty. Enjoy!

Beautiful colors - I love the deep blue sky in addition to the white sand.

Fantastic photo, Isabella.

The colors are amazing. The sand is sooo beautifully white. Can you send me a jar full of the white sand? :-)

Crate & Barrel sells jars of sand and river rocks for $15. Only in NYC.

Oh, yes, the beach, that's ok.

You're gonna spread your wings, child,
And take, take to the sky,...

Have to go play that video again, and again...

Zsolt - only one way to find out...you have to visit Naples!
Angela - there are a number of private beaches, my community owns one as well...
Rumblinground - we used to visit Gulf Shore, Al too - isn't there extensive damage after the last hurricane?
Ming - after your comment and a visit to Home Depot, I am shocked to see how much Americans will pay for dirt ;-)
Jules - I've never heard that version - very groovy...Peace ;-)
