"We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open." -- Jawaharlal Nehru
Someone once said "Those who bring sunshine to the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves." You are that ray of sunlight Moi, thanks for shining on me ;-)
Really Isabella...I am becoming more and more jealous of Naples! Its such a beautiful place. If ever I went to Florida...I would bypass the tourist attractions of Disney World and Orlando and make a beeline straight to Naples!!! Simply stunning!
to answer your question of yesterday. This table represents the book of Victor Hugo “the poor wretches” and in “the poor wretches” you have the history of Cosette, which when his/her mother dies becomes orphan and will live at Thenardier, of the tyrants who will benefit from Cosette by making it work very hard and without any rest. For this reason on the photographs the woman who plays Mrs Thenardier cry on Cosette
It's hard to top bougainvillea, especially the old red one. There are newer shades of red in the market but this is the best. In a day or two I will post a picture of a tree bougainvillea - this is not a regular rambler but a real tree The tree in your post Spathodea campanulata - African tulip tree (Bignoniaceae) is one of my favorites. Unfortunately this exotic is a trash tree according to the state. It can be invasive and the wood is very weak (it will break under hurricane winds).
Olivier - merci pour ton petit mot. "Les miserables" est l'un de mes livres préférés! Je me suis demandé cependant pourquoi ils ont choisi une histoire si malheureuse pour présenter à ta fete du Lac!
Tog - the African Tulip tree is one of my my favorites, too ;-)
Alice - those are red bougainvillea bushes in the background and a couple of the African Tulip blooms on the tree...
Linda - hardly ever do we get cloudy days (sometimes I yearn for them, just for a change). Even during the rainy season (June to October),the sun waits impatiently for the shower to end ;-)
Naples, on the Gulf Coast of Florida - the only subtropical area in the contiguous United States.
Year-round sunshine, white sandy beaches, championship golf courses (and the most millionaires per square mile in the world!).
So come, take a dip, the water's temperature is a constant 74°F. But please, DO NOT FEED THE ALLIGATORS!!!

Wow, do you ever have a cloudy day there? I guess you must get a hurricane or two but there sure are alot of blue skies.
