Gone fishing

I saw this little girl fishing in my pond (it's actually the community pond, but I pretend it is mine ;-). Very patient...very still.

The little girl doesn't look real - that part of the photo looks like a painting.

Serenity for sure.
Have a great Thursday!

A beautiful and colorful photograph. If I lived there I would be concerned for the small child's welfare. Is there any chance of an alligator in the lake? Wow. It would bother me.

Beautiful pond - looks like a small lake to me!

Isabella, what is that tree that has a few fronds hanging down with a white flower and pea-like pods? Fascinating.

Your quote fits the photo beautifully. Well-chosen, Isabella--both photo and Mr. Irving.

For a little moment, this pond is our pond too...When I was a little girl, i liked to fish (in the sea), it was easy to catch some beautiful fishs kind enough to swallow my poor worm on a rusty hook...I am not sure it could work today...

Thanks Gerald - will do!

Jilly - that's a wild tamarind tree. Those small while flowers are very sweet smelling...

Alice - today's fish are more spoiled and clever, they would never fall for a rusty hook ;-)

Abe - there's always a chance for an alligator, but this pond is on a golfcourse and they don't like to hang out with the golfers ;-)

Thanks for the ice-cream, Rauf!!! It is very hot here today...

Composition is great here with these flowers in the foreground and is the final touch.

Beautiful spot to go fishing. I must say that I'm a bit jealous, I haven't been fishing yet this spring!

I also just noticed that small lawn chair nest to the little girl; how adorable!
