"We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open." -- Jawaharlal Nehru
I thought these must be bats when I saw the photo. That is a very common site in Austin, Tx when the sun sets as a species of Mexican bats set up residence by the millions under the bridges. I wondered how there could be one fly or mosquito left in Austin as they eat their weight in insects every night but I still managed to get bitten all the time.
when i first read that a collection of crows is called Murder a coupla years back..i felt a shiver go down my spine......the scene reminds me of the Hitchcock's movie Birds
Stunning picture? Are these bats or birds? Either way, whatever they are, am sure they are VERY hungry! Reminds me of the time I witnessed an endless stream of bats emerge from a cave in Kenya. There were so many that it took over 30 mins!!! It just looked like a black stream disapearing into the evening sky. Scary but equally beautiful. I'll never forget it!
Bats or Crows or Buzzards. It really only matters that they are alive and doing what comes naturally. I really like this photograph. It gives the sunset and the sky a totally different meaning.
"Nevermore, quoth the Raven..." oh wait, those are crows. Nice photo, did you sleep well that night? Maybe it's just me but I always get nervous whenever a giant flock of crows circles overhead.
I had a chill opening your post today, after what happened in Virginia. It took me a minute to remember "murder of crows." I had posted a cemetery shot yesterday.
Naples, on the Gulf Coast of Florida - the only subtropical area in the contiguous United States.
Year-round sunshine, white sandy beaches, championship golf courses (and the most millionaires per square mile in the world!).
So come, take a dip, the water's temperature is a constant 74°F. But please, DO NOT FEED THE ALLIGATORS!!!

The sky and clouds are quite lovely. The birds are somewhat numerous, aren't they?
Awesome view of the sky. Love the colors. Are those birds or flying foxes?

From the title I wonder if these are crows...
Whatever...the photo is dramatic with the colours in the sky and the birds.

A murder of crows - methinks. You are a devious one

Clever title (as usual!)
Beautiful end to another beautiful day in Naples!
You got to be careful standing under that many birds, if you know what I mean.
Absolutely stunning photograph.

Hi Isabella, thanks for visiting my blog. Wow! Your photos are gorgeous! I must come back to visit and learn. I love this shot of the sky.
The sky is stunning, as the whole photo. The name should be more gentle!
The only birds we have around here that pack the sky this way are blackbirds. Beautiful shot against a graceful sunset.
Gorgeous color -- and the birds just make the picture.
Left a message on Menton DP for you Isabella. thanks as always for passing. kiss kiss J x
