Xanadu I
Did I ever mention that I own a private beach? I can just see Peter rolling his eyes and thinking "Isabella is fibbing again", but not this time ;-)
See, my community has a private beach on a small island on the Gulf of Mexico and I own shares in the community ergo...I own the beach! Or if you want to be technical about it, I own about a bucketful of sand!
Starting today, if you have no better offers, come along on my beach outing. Pack your suntan lotion, stretch out your bikini (I do!) and follow me.
We are starting out at the marina, from which we take a pontoon boat for a 15 minute ride on Estero Bay to Big Hickory Island. All aboard!

Isabella, didn't get a chance to wish you congrats on the 200th photo mark.
So with you theory of "private beach" ownership, I guess I am a rich oil man -- my state owns land, oil companies rent it to drill for oil.. I am a part owner of this state...
Talk about get rich quick.
I'll go if I don't have to wear a bikini and if I can drive the pontoon. Okay? I want to be skipper, not first mate.
Amazingly beautiful. Lucky you. Visiting there would be great but owning it is fortune.
And I own part of a Civil War battlefield! My kids once found a real bullet from that era while digging in our backyard! The Yankees and the Rebels did skirmish with each other down the road near our house back in April 1865.
Well, that is cool, having your own beach. I don't imagine you ever run short of beaches in any case living in Florida and all.
I'm game...but it is a big sun hat for me and a gauzy long dress. I am trying to think of the last time I wore a bikini and it is not coming to me.
tu nous invite tous, attention un jour on va tous venir, tu seras tres surprise ;o). c'est sympathique d'avoir sa plage privée. je te souhaite un bon weekend sur ta plage
you invites us all, attention one day one all will come, you will be very surprised ;O). it is sympathetic nerve to have its private beach. I wish you a good weekend on your beach
Ok, I'll go; it promises to be a wonderful weekend. But no bikini...
This happens to be a great post: suddenly I realized I own the largest private bank in Portugal; well, a few computers they're using, maybe! ;-)
One bucketfull? That's a good start. And the photograph is nice too.

Today you will get to see the baby raccoons...

a few buckets of sand is still better than owning nothing!
i dont even own a bucket of sand! haha..
by the way, do you own that boat at the marina too? hehe.. maybe one of the engines. :-)
Yes, of course my eyes started to roll - always a bit suspicious with your posts!
OK, you obviously told the truth this time, but still trying (and succeeding) to make us envy you.
I lost my bikini somewhere, but I hope a normal short will do?
Ehm... My bikini it's actually by laundry. Will be accepted with short? If yes, I'll be there monday afternoon at 4:52pm from Atlanta (via Torino-Paris). Fly: DL4757 :-)) Yuppiiiii
Okey,Isabella I will follow you but where should I spread my beach towel now as you bring with you a bucketful of sand caused when I staring today no sand there ;o)
(enviously) Your beach looks so wonderful! You're definetely a lucky person.
Wait for me........ just packing. Can I bring my dog? Do I need to bring food? Do they serve wine? Are there books? Just checking on the essentials for life, you understand.
A pontoon boat ride in the Florida sunshine, starting at Isabella's private beach, what a delicious thought. And as it's a "virtual" boat ride, I'll be wearing my "virtual" bikini. WOOHOO!! Here I come!
I am already on the beach waiting for all you slowpokes. I have the best seat :-)
Well, Isabella, it sounds like you'll be the only one with a bikini, but I'm with Jilly - books and wine will be necessary.
Lucky girl!!!!!! Would you invite us sometime??
I'd love to come. There's a Florida state law that says every beach MUST have at least one fat guy in a speedo...
Nah, I wouldn't do that to everybody. But I look forward to more of the trip.
