Meet my other neighbors, just doing their thing...
alligator on the prowl
lizard on the wall
snake in the grass
turtle on the move
bobcat in the bushes
Florida panther in the tree(I took all those pictures on my walks through the community recently, except for the panther photo - I was too busy running for my life!)

What different worlds we live in. Constant rain here right now and yes the wells here are real.
No aligators or panthers, just squirrels, frogs and hedgehogs.
I not only think, I KNOW that I would keep a wide berth between myself and some of your neighbors!!

Ackworth - coming from Europe, I do miss hedgehogs - we don't see them around here. And I hope you don't float away...
Kate - come on, you wouldn't want to snuggle-up with the pretty kitty?(who,btw, over the summer abducted 4 domesticated cats :-(

wow, i saw a similar black snake in my mum's garden. i was shocked to see it. and quietly make my way back into the house. haha...

wow - you live in a crazy place! i cant believe you see all those things. The bobcats look pretty scary but the snake bothers me the most!
