is this a scene from Alice in Wonderland?
Firstly we have two shops with animal-related names and the same wreath decoration on the outside.
Thirdly the poor wee doggie with sandy paws outside sandy paws [is that oddity #3?] so fourthly that napkin is decidedly odd.
But fifthly sandy paws the shop seems to have objet d'art in its window rather than doggie related merchandise.
Sixthly its odd that I've spent so much time gawping at this scene!
j'etais pas doué, enfant , au jeux des septs erreurs ;o) ici la seule chose bizarre pour moi, c'est l'habillage du chien.
I was not endowed, child, with the plays of the septs errors; O) here the only odd thing for me, it is the preparing of the dog.
Is the dog the weird thing in the pic? It looks a bit fake. Hmmm..
No sand around, where do you get sandy paws? haha...
Is there a beach nearby? If not, where's the sand from?
Ironic that the wonderful pooch outside is not able to put her sandy paws in the restaurant/shop!!
I think it is suspicious that the dog doesn't have any water. What dog-loving owner (and we know you are a dog-lover) would leave a dog outside on a hot winter day without water.
That dog is not real. That chest and other parts look like sculptured alabaster.
You're all way more observant than I am, and I enlarged the photo!
I agree that the dog must be a fake.If it's a suggestion that customers should leave their dogs outside, it means that even if the shop name is Sandy Paws, real sandy paws are not welcome in the shop!
Bravo Keropok man, Mandy and Nathalie! The "dog" is just an advertising prop of the Sandy Paws boutique which sells dog & cat accessories (some looking like objet d'art, Gerald ;-) and homemade doggie treats.
I didn't ask but I believe they would allow your pet inside - especially with the prices they charge.
