Beach bathing

The average water temperature at Naples beach in October is 81F (27C).

Great for wading and...hair washing, apparently ;-)

"Strange animal facts" #9:
The blue whale has a heart the size of a small car and its blood vessel is so broad, that a person could swim through it.

Our air temperature hit 70 degrees yesterday & today & we thought summer had returned!
"The size of a small car" is rather vague, what make, model, & year?

Lisbon 1:11 a.m., the day the European Union has agreed on its New Treaty (the Lisbon Treaty) to be signed in Lisbon on December 13th! Temperature outside 22.5º Celsius!
It's not only Florida...

OK. I took your tag and passed on...

Now why did you have to post a beach scene while we are preparing our "nests" for winter? Not that it gets that cold in Alabama, but the cold we do get is a damp cold that chills our very bones! I have been putting up summer clothes and hauling out winter ones, and here y'all are, still wearing bathing suits!
I love that clear, aqua water!

Your beach scenes make me so envious.

They may make Kate envious... I turn GREEN. This is amazingly beautiful. It was 49 degrees here today and it snowed in the mountains.

The water looks so soothing. I imagine everyone had a great time there on the beach. Thanks for sharing this great photo. Were you on a lifeguard stand when you took it?

OK, you seem to take a pleasure in making us envious! Just go on!

Nice photography. Where were you standing?

I wonder if she got soap in her eyes?

Were you balancing on your surfboard when you took the picture?

Very nice photo. Beach looks heaven. Love the way the sea just touches the sand. All stones here unfortunately, except for a few man-made beaches and they are not like this.

Not sure sea water is too good for hair...

Interesting fact. Not hard to imagine actually as I'm always driving thru tunnels around here!

The water is amazingly clear. What a gorgeous photo!!

It's been miserable and humid in NYC this last couple of days. I show up at work looking like a drowned rat. Not a pretty sight.

Very nice photo. I have not been to the beach at all this summer. It is close to where I live. A ten minutes' drive....

Lovely beach scene!
I hope to be experiencing the warm ocean and the sand myself next week.... a month at Ormond Beach! I am so excited. I need some sunshine. At the moment I am suffering from a horrible head cold, the first in over ten years!
I have put in an order for good weather, I hope there's still some sunshine in the Florida warehouse.
BTW I posted pics of The Wedding, perhaps I will post some more tomorrow. We had such a great time, I'm exhausted!
