Fiery end

Photo taken through the screen of my lanai

"After a day of cloud and wind and rain
Sometimes the setting sun breaks out again,
and touching all the darksome woods with light,
Smiles on the fields until they laugh and sing,
Then like a ruby from the horizon's ring,
Drops down into the night."

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

No one could have described this scene better than Longfellow! I enjoy your many literary quotes and verses that you use for posts. So, do you have them memorized or do you have a lot of literature?:)

It truly looks like a jungle out there.

The photography is very good.

Abraham Lincoln in Brookville, Ohio now playing the part of Mrs. Zac Efron's employee.

Beautiful sky with the trees silhouetted against the sunset. Mother Nature's quite a talented artist, isn't she?

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh - ooooooooooooooh - that's stunning. Beautiful photograph. And love the poem too. Good ol' Longfellow. There's a statue of him in Menton, surprisingly.
