How sweet it is!

Fort Myers Beach boardwalk

Next to Life Wave in Fort Myers Beach is a familiar storefront. Familiar to me, because it originated in Michigan 60 years ago!

Kilwin's is a well known maker of hand-dipped chocolates and homemade ice-cream. If you think you can take it - check out their short production videos ;-)

What's my favorite? Truffles, of course! What's yours?

Yum! That does look like a great place to stop at.

LOL.

This place covered all the bases. Fudge in Michigan on the island is the best in the world, by the way and I know you already know that.

Two stores in a row, what a deal! I'll go for "Death by Chocolate", of maybe "Moose Tracks". Ok, I'll have both!
I wonder what our friends from overseas think of names like those :-)

Boringly, I hear you say, I don't like ice-cream, or fudge and can only eat a little chocolate. Well it doesn't like me, to tell the truth. Gives me migraines. Now how boring is that!

It all looks so inviting tho, dammit.

And Isabella, thanks so much for the awards on Menton yesterday. That means a lot to me! Love ya!

Pistache would be my favourite, please! However, it may smelt on the way here! I will have to try a local one, maybe Italian style!

ooh you little temptress with your icecream -- no I won't be tempted; it's a cold wind blowing here although the sky is blue!

Truffles yes, I'll have one with you!
I'm just a bit worried about the portion sizes, no "supersize me" for me thanks!

Sorry I can't visit more often at the moment but thanks for your kind comment on Avignon Photos and congratulations on your well deserved Schmooze Award!!!

At one time a couple from FL opened a Kilwin's in Breckenridge, CO. I worked there with them for about a year. I discovered that I actually LOVED lots of sweets I never thought I'd love. Everything there is delicious, but their ice cream is the BEST! Try the mint chocolate chip, pralines & cream or butter pecan!
