Cleaning the freshly caught fish at Naples Pier...

and sharing the scraps with the attentive pelicans.

There's something about boats...and fish...and especially pelicans. This takes me immediately to Cairns. Naples so reminds me of Cairns yet I know the latter isn't remotely as chi-chi or sophisticated. When I see your photographs, I can smell the humidity in the air, my skin is damp and I'm there! One day, one day...

Superb photos. Take a look at Menton DP today - there'll something for you, Miz Isabella...

Yes, a very nice win-win situation which furthermore looks very refreshing! A nice weekend also to you!

Florida Pelikans are almost identical to Ohio Starlings. They show up when food is available and scrounge around for some when it isn't handy. I like the Pelikan shot.

This second is fantastic! I just wonder what the guy is doing on the first... Have a great weekend. This time no beach, I'll be working. Well, some jazz at night (Jazz in August), and that will be all :((

Enjoy your weekend, Isabella. It must be pretty hot there, but I hear it's pretty hot in Michigan too, Florida-like.

Oh - sigh - that water looks divine!
We are in the depths of winter here (well, as deep as winter gets in Australia!) and those photos have me longing to go to the beach.
Not the stormy winter beach but the blue blue blue beach of summer.
