Rejoice!

Great and Little Blue Herons fishing in the wetlands

"If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy, if a blade of grass springing up in the fields has power to move you, if the simple things of nature have a message that you understand, rejoice, for your soul is alive."

~Eleonora Duse

Rejoice! That's what I'll try to do (in Greece, with the fires, I'm not sure...). Enjoy your weekend; I'll try to enjoy the holidays, finally!!! Meanwhile, I left you in Bali at Blogtrotter. Enjoy!

Is that some logs or a croc in the top left of the picture?

To my untrained eye I cannot see all the creatures you mentioned int the photo. I, too, wonder about the object in the upper left? Love the quote. Emphasizes what's important in life.

I'm certainly rejoicing in the gorgeous weather we're having in our part of CH right now (though I suspect it's too warm for that Zürich fellow). Charging my batteries for the winter...

c'est un tres bel oiseau, mais ce n'est pas une proie facile pour les alligators ?

it is a very beautiful bird, but it is not an easy prey for the alligators?
