August 1st Theme Day - Typical Breakfast

Inside a caged lanai, where one would breakfast, if one was so inclined.

Sorry, I did not prepare anything special and did not register for this month's theme post until the last moment, so you probably won't visit me. But I will be taking a tour around the world, to check out your breakfast habits ;-)

And, in case you are wondering, most days I enjoy a tall glass of freshly squeezed orange juice (this is Florida!)

and a slice of a vegetable frittata.

Preferably, served in bed ;-)

OK, no breakfast! Who cares; it's still 1:07 a.m., and the pictures are beautiful...
Anyhow, at home I just grab a drinkable yogurth and go; abroad, I take the full buffet breakfast, with smoked salmon on the top!
Am I the first here today?

I would get up early and cook a good breakfast if I could eat it right there by the pool!

You're the smart one - breakfast in bed is the nicest way to start the day.

Well, come on over, and we'll share a meal.

.....brought to you there by, say the lifesaver from Menton?

can't miss out on visiting your splendid pool-side - it is a dull morning again here after a couple of days of nice sunshine after two weeks of rain.

[a couple of your pics aren't showing - probably blogger-glitch]

That'll do me! I can't do breakfast in bed tho. The minute I wake I've got to get up - but no problem, I'll serve breakfast to you...then I'll go and eat mine by the pool!

Good morning. Hope the breakfast was good. I notice a couple of the pictures are even gone.

With the pool waiting for you, you still want your breakfast in bed!! You are too spoiled Isabella! (... or maybe after all you desserve it!)

I'll have 2 eggs over easy with some bacon, followed by un petit pain au chocolat.
You do have coffee, right?

Beautiful place to enjoy the breakfast! Oh breakfast served on bed would be great! :)

Hmmm, I think I'd take poolside over bed, you don't have to worry about crumbs!

Either in bed or by that gorgeous pool, your breakfast is a vast improvement over mine - typically a cup of coffee in a paper cup, gulped on a crowded subway. I like your style much better.

Beautiful place, Isabella! And breakfast served on bed is very chic!

Yeah, like Frank said, let's not forget the coffee! Great photos - you've hit on the finer side of breakfast!

nothing beats orange juice in the morning.

That vegetable frittata looks really good. I prefer whole oranges to a glass of orange juice. And, coffee to me is better than the orange, although I know not to healthy.

Really nice photo as usual !

How about skipping breakfast and sleeping in, then enjoying a dip in the pool when you wake up?

We saw many "caged lanai" in Palm Beach on a recent golf vacation. I thought they were intended to protect from errant golf balls ... four.
