Main Street, USA
I've been remiss in not showing you this sooner - historic 5th Ave South, downtown Naples. The heartbeat of the city, the quintessential Main Street.
But don't let that "small town charm" fool you. This is not Sheriff Taylor's Mayberry...Golly! This naturally beautiful district (full of banyan and poinciana trees) offers a cosmopolitan sophistication where you can indulge in epicurean delights in the many first class restaurants and bistro’s, browse in over 100 art galleries or shop for the latest in fashion.
All of that and you are only steps away from the beach...

You bring back memories for me, memories of walking down this street and finding a way to get to the beach from there. You're right, Naples is no Mayberry.
je suis impressionné par le nombre de galerie d'art qui se trouve dans ta ville. Je te souhaite un bon weekend
I am impressed by the number of art gallery which is in your city. I wish you a good weekend
This reminds me of downtown Sarasota.
A beautiful Main Street. So colorful, so tropical, so neat.
That's a mighty narrow pavement (sidewalk) but I guess the banyans have priority. Wouldn't like to meet someone with a double-buggy coming the other way ;)
i was just gonna say what Laurel did....reminds moi of downtown Sarasota......guess, I need to visit Naples sometime, staying so close....
Now, this is again TOO nice (referring to recent housing discussions...!
No, but seriously, it really looks nice!
100 art galleries!! I would suggest some poor French artists I know to mover over to Naples! (I went to a vernissage yesterday; a lot of people, friends... few buyers.)
Very nice main street. You must have been downtown for lunch, judging from the time.

Beautiful avenue! Love so much those banyan tree!
Nice street but, I'd still be at the beach.
Nice photo. Looks like a nice city.
Beautiful street - I like the clock, the foliage, architecture, and the shopping!
Very nice shot, looks like a very tidy spot :)
The colours are so Florida! Sunshine and Shopping!
seems very laid-back..
Very pretty. I haven't gotten sick of the colorful building colors and awnings yet in our time in Fl. This kind of reminds me of the main strip in Vero Beach; pretty, but tough on a skinny wallet.
