Isabella, wow, I'm impressed. This is a fantastic photo. When I take photos of birds they somehow disappear when I look at the photos. I think your pictures are great. What are you currently using?

You asked about camera recommendations. I use an Olympus 500 UZ that I purchased for work without any research before realizing I would get bit by the photography bug. I highly regret it!

A lot depends on your budget, of course. Mine cost around $450 and comes with no extra lenses, but I've read you can get more and change them. The one I would exchange it for in a heartbeat, if I had the money, is a Canon Digital Rebel XTi. All the photos I've seen from this relatively inexpensive digital camera (around $700-800) are fantastic. It's small and nice for most women's hands. Do more research at www.photo.net where there are camera reviews on the left side.

Good luck, and keep me posted! But please don't make me too jealous. :|

That is an awesome shot of a bird in flight. That is not easy to capture. Well done!

Very nice sky, and great capture on the stork. How neat it would have been to get to see one in flight! And with that beautiful blue sky as a backdrop...

I like the color and of course the bird. When I bought my first digital camera I said it was so I could take photos of birds in flight.
