Theme day - The Color Blue

Restaurant at Crayton Cove, Naples waterfront

If you are a frequent visitor to NaplesDailyPhoto you know that the predominant color here is blue. That's what Southwest Florida is all about - blue skies and blue water.
So it wasn't easy choosing a photo for today's theme day, but I think I succeeded...
I'm showing you here everything I love: Mediterranean Blue, Provence and French Cuisine!

Besides, it was either this or the photo below ;-)

Port-a-potty (portable toilet) at a local construction site

I think I'd like to use either either, depending upon the circumstances. PS. How did you get the list of participants since the portal is down?!

I like both photos, but I love the top one.

The Bleu Provence is a much better choice than the blue port-a-potty.

Leave it to you Isabella to put an amusing spin on the theme day!
Love your humor!

Well, the first one is lovely...but the second one made me chuckle.

nothing beats 'shock value' for a photo. Great job.

I prefer French food over porta potties! I'm trying to remember your clever use of the porta potty on theme day before...hmmm?

tres amusant, je prefere le bleu provencal qui est un tres bon choix, la France a l'honneur.

I appreciate you positive comments about Provence and the French cuisine! However, I just saw ex-shammickite's posts from yesterday and today; the Florida sky is not ALWAYS blue! (I know, mostly it is, lucky lady!)

I love both of them! :)

Lovely! Almost a Matisse blue, my favourite blue. As for the portable loo, well you'd not miss it, would you? I thought they made these things to blend in with the landscape, be a little discreet ;)

Great post, as always.

I can't always trust you to make me chuckle. Both are great -- but I love the first best. :)

Beautiful Mediterranean blue, Isabella.
The Porta-John is a nice blue, too :) (I recall a similar edifice on a previous theme day?)

Restaurant and Port-a-toilet. Are you trying to imply something about the food served at the restaurant??? :-)

Hi Isabella, I'll take the first photo as a tribute to the region I live in... but had to laugh at the second !!!

Yesterday's birds are spooky enough to belong to Hitchcock's movie... great choice for a Halloween night and sepia works beautifully here.
