Theme day - The Color Blue
Restaurant at Crayton Cove, Naples waterfront
If you are a frequent visitor to NaplesDailyPhoto you know that the predominant color here is blue. That's what Southwest Florida is all about - blue skies and blue water.
So it wasn't easy choosing a photo for today's theme day, but I think I succeeded...
I'm showing you here everything I love: Mediterranean Blue, Provence and French Cuisine!
Besides, it was either this or the photo below ;-)

I think I'd like to use either either, depending upon the circumstances. PS. How did you get the list of participants since the portal is down?!
I like both photos, but I love the top one.
The Bleu Provence is a much better choice than the blue port-a-potty.
Leave it to you Isabella to put an amusing spin on the theme day!
Love your humor!
Well, the first one is lovely...but the second one made me chuckle.
nothing beats 'shock value' for a photo. Great job.
I prefer French food over porta potties! I'm trying to remember your clever use of the porta potty on theme day before...hmmm?
tres amusant, je prefere le bleu provencal qui est un tres bon choix, la France a l'honneur.
Very fun, I prefer the blue provencal which is a very good choice, France had the honor.
very nice pastel colors of the house and i definitely prefer this one over the portable toilet =) happy theme day
=^..^=
I Heart Manila
I appreciate you positive comments about Provence and the French cuisine! However, I just saw ex-shammickite's posts from yesterday and today; the Florida sky is not ALWAYS blue! (I know, mostly it is, lucky lady!)
i love bule colour
lol... love the second one...
Nice pictures...I prefer the first one...and really appreciate your humour...and the way you told us a short story.
Restaurant...toilet.
I love the sanitation one!!! very nice blues!!
I love both of them! :)
Lovely! Almost a Matisse blue, my favourite blue. As for the portable loo, well you'd not miss it, would you? I thought they made these things to blend in with the landscape, be a little discreet ;)
Great post, as always.
I can't always trust you to make me chuckle. Both are great -- but I love the first best. :)
a restaurant which gives desire for pushing the door.
But it is closed!!
Beautiful Mediterranean blue, Isabella.
The Porta-John is a nice blue, too :) (I recall a similar edifice on a previous theme day?)
Great photos! I enjoyed them both. :)
joy
Norwich Daily Photo
I would use them both and in that order.
Thanks!
Restaurant and Port-a-toilet. Are you trying to imply something about the food served at the restaurant??? :-)
cool photos.
:)
hmmm Isabella,
thats really blue,
have a good day ,
smile from me:)
Hi Isabella, I'll take the first photo as a tribute to the region I live in... but had to laugh at the second !!!
Yesterday's birds are spooky enough to belong to Hitchcock's movie... great choice for a Halloween night and sepia works beautifully here.
Loved the photos, second one especially! lol
I was sure that I were going to find something special on this site:) And I did...a very blue public toilet:)
They are BOTH great photos for the blue theme today. The first is absolutely great and the second is, well, hilarious. :)
LOL!! I'd say both pictures are very good choices. The first one is a tad more romantic though. :D
Greetings from New York City,
Eliane
i totally love the first pic..the blue there is just my kinda blue :)
I like the second one - I always think it's best to go out on a limb and be different!!!
The first one is stunning though and soooo BLUE!!!
Wow! Nice one! The first picture, I'm talking about.
Too funny!
LOL! What a contrast between the first and second shots, NICE WORK! :-D
Ah ah, what a big contrast. I like the first one better :-))) (normal, since I live very close to Provence).
That's a colourful toilet! Wow...can't believe a toilet can generate soooo many comments!! ;-)
Nice photos!
