Naïf
There is a funky Caribbean art gallery and gift boutique in the heart of downtown Naples, called "The lady from Haiti".
This painting is just one of many vibrant works by the artist E Jean-Louis.
To see more paintings (and read about "the lady" herself), you can visit here.

A beauty! Thanks for the link; I enjoyed surfing it, and esp. liked "Geometric Market." These are my kind of paintings because of the vibrancy of colours and themes. The one you posted is wonderful, Isabella.
It looks great, Isabella.
This boutique has some interesting things...
Very colorful! An interesting place to visit, I bet.
Oh just fabulous! I love naif art. Thanks for the link - my favourite is Bourgeois Cocktails. Adore it.
Lovely painting! I like the Naif; strong colours, clear design... Have some from Salvador da Bahia, Brazil and even one from Haiti, brought by a friend... Much different from the Bulgarian frescoes and icons shown at Blogtrotter.
Have a great week!
This is about as modern-looking as I like and it is one of the best I have seen in ages. The linked work is also very nice to see.
Really beautiful! Checked the site! ... and found especially the paining part very very attractive!
Wow! What a beautiful painting!?!?!
The colors of the fruits and bags really pop in the sea of white and black. The artist did a great job using colors to convey the message.
Your photos are so beautiful, Isabella. I like the photos of the brown pelicans ! This one too....
wow Great paintings I love those pastel colours, so naif I liekthis style...
I Have been a bit busy with (doggy)IOsje, she was so sick afteran operation last Friday, so I had to take care of her all day (and night)
greetings
I like it very much. I love so much its vivid colours and contraposition between white and black. I also surfed on that link and, funny, I love same paint Kate loves: "Geometric Market" but... So expensive (and -believe me, expensive is espensive euro or not)
