Is there some sort of blue bird in the photo, top, just right of center?

That photo of the pooch is so cute--looks like someone who has been tagged and is counting to 100 before turning to look for the hidden friends!

I am intrigued by your 8 Random Facts, especially No. 1 No. 7. I've been on a tear lately, trying to learn about and appreciate and photograph the "real" Florida like this photo.

Mostly Florida is really wet and scruffly looking, but I've learned to like it. Besides, if I get tired of it, I can be on the beach 20 minutes from home, and less than that from where I work, so I get to see the ocean, my favorite thing, whenever I want.JAMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04272374108524693575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1023455406628265785.post-2847792600718595282007-10-16T20:28:00.000+01:002007-10-16T20:28:00.000+01:00Beautiful photo, Isabella!Beautiful photo, Isabella!sonia a. mascarohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02415359150944729620noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1023455406628265785.post-14326883229967719212007-10-16T20:23:00.000+01:002007-10-16T20:23:00.000+01:00Hi Isabella! They eat about a quart of sunflower chips put out in different locations on the ground. Then they also want and eat some raw peanuts in the shells and those attract blue jays. The blue jays pick them up and find a place to hide them in the grass by placing a leaf on top of the peanut. Sometimes those also sprout and grow.

I like your nature photo a lot. It has all the colors of the rainbow in it and would be an inviting place for a lot of wildlife.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1023455406628265785.post-36749083444983173542007-10-15T06:50:00.000+01:002007-10-15T06:50:00.000+01:00I love the photo, Isabella - looks so nice & warm ...I love the photo, Isabella - looks so nice & warm there :)
Squirrels are cute!Nikonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14271472315834976236noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1023455406628265785.post-79450588672107095972007-10-15T04:27:00.000+01:002007-10-15T04:27:00.000+01:00Stupid squirrels! You'd think by now, they might ha...Stupid squirrels!
You'd think by now, they might have developed some evolutionary facility to overcome this!
Although, my husband hasn't sufficiently evolved to overcome domestic blindness, so what can you expect from a squirrel?
Then again, there is a greater reward in squirrels' lack of evolutionary progress (ie: forests) - I wonder what are the benefits of Vince's evolutionary shortcomings?freefallinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05689667027805519320noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1023455406628265785.post-26367114336384834132007-10-15T01:06:00.000+01:002007-10-15T01:06:00.000+01:00Those squirrels always look like they are on a mis...Those squirrels always look like they are on a mission...now we know what it is :)Chica, Cienna, and Calihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06075584587849773235noreply@blogger.com
